Francisco Tarrega: Pavana

The pavane or another name is pavan was a popular dance in Europe during the Renaissance age basically in the mediterranean area. This Pavana by Francisco Tarrega is not a renaissance pavan obviously. This piece is a Spanish classical guitar music in romantic style inspired by the old ages written by the greatest genius of the Spanish guitar... Perfect rethinking of pavana style using all the possibilities of the romantic stlye and classical guitar. And you can of course feel the Spanish blood in it... I play it very often on my concerts.
